Study Detail

TitleShifts in the ruminal caprine bacterial epithelial community relative to dietary energy supply
Study TypeOther
Abstract This study aimed to investigate the impact of energy-rich diets on the ruminal caprine bacterial epithelial microbiome. Seventeen goats were fed low, medium or high energy diets. DNA was isolated from the rumen mucosa and used for Roche/454 16S rRNA gene amplicon pyrosequencing.
