A bacteriophage virulent for an ESBL-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae strain was isolated from sewage in northern Germany. The draft dsDNA genome was obtained on a high-throughput Illumina MiSeq platform, generating 414,870 paired-end reads. It was assembled as a single scaffold which showed strong s ..
