Abstract n a composting study as a management option for urban market crop wastes in Uganda, the population of microorganisms involved in composting were evaluated. The study covered bacteria and fungi. Bacteria were studied by means of pyrosequencing of SSU rDNA and fungi by ITS rDNA.
