<STUDY_ABSTRACT>In this study, six bat fecal samples were collected from six locations in China and used for metagenomic analysis by sequence-independent amplification followed by high-throughput sequencing (Solexa, Illumina). Our results revealed that the bat intestinal tract contains an astonishing number of novel viruses, which are dominated by densoviruses, dicistroviruses, coronaviruses, paroviruses and tobamoviruses and cover a range of viruses from invertebrate and vertebrate to plant viruses.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
