<STUDY_ABSTRACT>The green rice leafhopper (GRH), Nephottetix cincticeps, is one of the most important pests of rice plants in temperate Asian countries. Recent studies showed differences of preference to a resistant rice plant variety between regional GRH populations, suggesting the presence of intraspecifically genetic variation in GRH in Japan. We performed the transcriptome analysis of salivary glands of GRH population.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
