            <STUDY_ABSTRACT>A cDNA library was constructed from leaves and cambium with surrounding tissues from a Thujopsis dolabrata var. hondae tree in Japan. After total RNA was extracted from each tissue using a CTAB-based method, each batch of RNA was mixed equal-molarly. cDNA synthesis was carried out using TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kit (Illumina) by Hokkaido System Science Co., Ltd (Sapporo, Japan). The library was sequenced using HiSeq 1000 (Illumina) with 2?101-bp paired-end reads by Biotechnology Center of Akita Prefectural University (Akita, Japan).</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
