            <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Comparative transcriptome analysis of two Ericaceae plants, Monotropastrum
humilie and Enkianthus perulatus, is a useful approach to obtain new
insights on plastid and peroxisome functions in mycoheterotrophic
non-photosynthetic plant, M. humile. All plastid and peroxisomal gene were
revealed to be expressed in E. perulatus. This is the first report showing
the comparison of plastid and peroxisome functions between photosynthetic
and non-photosynthetic plants in mycoheterotrophic plants.
