To detect genes function in both roots infected by symbionts and above-ground organs, we incrementally isolated total RNA of stems. Transcriptome of stems were compared with that of above-ground organs (roots, buds, flowers, leaves, seeds and pods) and infected roots (arbuscular mycorrhizal and root noduled roots).</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
