            <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Vibrio halioticoli is an alginate assimilating marine bacterium. Recently metabolic engineering of the bacterium directs to produce ethanol from alginate. However, the detail gene expression profiles in alginate metabolism have never been solved. To understand the global gene regulation of alginate-grown Vibrio halioticoli cells, RNA-seq analyses were performed. Bacterial cells were cultured with 3 kinds of media; mannitol-grown, alginate-grown, and both. RNA was extracted with Trizol and RNA-easy kits.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
