      <STUDY_TITLE>RenSeq Mapping of Resistance to Albugo candida Ac7v in Sf-2</STUDY_TITLE>
      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Other"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Sf-2 is resistant to Ac7v. In a cross of 329xSf-2, resistance segregated 3:1 (R:S) in the F2 generation, suggesting a single gene/locus confers resistance. To map the gene responsible, an initial bulk of ~100 susceptible individuals from the F2 were collected and DNA extracted. This pooled "bulk susceptible" DNA was captured using the BrRenSeq v2 bait library to select for NLR encoding loci and sequenced on the MiSeq platform as one of a set of pooled barcoded samples (TGAC-ENQ-1124/PRO1067). After a broad peak was detected on chr5, a larger bulk of 220 susceptible F2 individuals was prepared and sequenced on the HiSeq platform (Novogene-xxxx)</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
