      <STUDY_TITLE>AMR surveillance of Neisseria gonorrhoeae in Vietnam</STUDY_TITLE>
      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Other"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Multiple drug resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae has been a global concern in controlling of AMR development and treatment therapy. We carried out a national surveillance collecting gonococcal samples from 2019 to 2021 in Vietnam. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing and whole genome sequencing are performed to identify phenotypes and corresponding AMR determinants. Epidemiological and risk factors of patients infected with gonococcus are also investigated. This project contributes to the AMR monitoring programme of N.gonorrhoeae in Vietnam as well as globally.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
