      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Ganoderma lucidum is a basidiomycete white rot fungus poised to be one of the most important herb medicines. So far, great deals of works have been done to tap the medical ingredients in Ganoderma lucidum. Despite its magical therapeutic effect on many diseases, seldom knowledge exists at the genomic levels for Ganoderma lucidum. Hence, we utilized Illumina high-throughput technology to sequence and analyze the transcriptome of Ganoderma lucidum, in order to get a deep insight into it.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
