<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Kumarahou (Pomaderris kumeraho) is a plant used in rongoa (traditional medicine) by the indigenous Maori of Aotearoa (New Zealand). In our studies of the antimicrobial properties of this plant, we isolated a strain of the plant-associated bacterium, Pseudomonas fluorescens. Here we report genome data for this strain, which we designate Pseudomonas fluorescns KF1 (for "Kumarahou Flower 1").</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
