<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Couroupita guianensis commonly called as nagpushpa. It belongs to lecythidaceae family. It is ornamental plant and it's flower is highly sacred in indian traditional culture. The various parts of the plant like flower, leaf, stem are used in traditional medicine. We carried out differential tissue metabolomic profiling. From this study, flower tissue emerged as most bioactive part of the plant. On the other hand, we also carried out transcriptomic study of flower tissue and screened terpene synthases for gene cloning and characterization study.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
