<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Teratura megafurcula, belonging to Teratura, Tettigoniidae, Orthoptera, is an important pest of herbivorous agriculture and forestry. It is mainly distributed in the East China (Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang), South China (Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hainan), Central China (Hubei, Henan), Southwest China (Sichuan, Guizhou). We first reported the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of T. megafurcula , which will provide significant genomic information to study the evolution of the Teratura.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
