      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>A high quality genome would always posses significant value to seek a scheme to control forest pests, sush as Dendrolimus kikuchii, a dangerous pest and widespread in China. Herein we sequenced the genome of D. kikuchii at chromosome-level based on Nanopore sequencing and Hi-C capture system. These genome analysis will help us to elucidate the mechanisms involved in protection against foreign substances and pathogens for D. kikuchii and explore a channel to control this pest.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
