      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>These 18S rDNA sequences of fungi resulted from sequencing of metagenomes of the karst soils. The soils were sampled, without consideration of seasonal shifts, from Guangxi, Yunnan and Guizhou in Southwest China from 2014-2016, involving 17 locations of Dahua (DH), Dule (DL) and Dalongtan (DLT) of Liuzhou, Daxu town (DX) of Lingchuan county, Huanjiang county (HJ), Huixian wetland (HX), Haiyang township (HY), Leye county (LYe), Lingyun county (LYun), Ningming county (NM), Nonggang National Natural Reserve (NG), Pingxiang (PX), Qifeng township (QFZ), Tiane county (TE), Xingan county (XA), Yachang Orchids Nature Reserve (YC) and Yangshuo county (YS) in Guangxi; 5 locations of Funing county (FN), Luoping county (LP), Maguan (MG), Shilin (SL) and Wenshan county (WS) in Yunnan; and 4 locations of Guangling (GL), Maolan (ML), Shuanghedong (SHD) and Pingtang (PT) in Guizhou</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
