      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Other"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Human stem cell-derived retinal organoids allow for the study of eye development in real-time. The aim of this study was to elucidate molecular changes that occur during the transition from human stem cells to retinal progenitor cells using a dual fluorescent reporter for early eye field induction (SIX6-eGFP) and retinal progenitor cells (VSX2-tdTomato). The samples included are from stem cells (day 00) through early eye field induction (day 15) to the emergence of retinal progenitor cells (day 25) and finally into more mature retinal cell types (days 35 and 45).</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
