      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>E-jiao, a traditional Chinese medicine with more than 2000 years of application, has been used clinically to treat ovarian-related diseases, but animal experimental studies to comprehensively investigate its effects on the ovaries and the possible mechanisms involved are lacking. In this study, two intraperitoneal injections of 80 mg/kg cyclophosphamide induced ovarian damage in rats. After oral administration of 4.5 g/kg E-jiao for 4 weeks, the therapeutic effect of E-jiao on rat ovary was investigated. The possible mechanism was systematically revealed by RNA sequencing.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
