      <DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>The cartilage tissues in the antler tips of Gansu red deer at primary growth stage (30d) were collected from three individuals for RNA extraction. Total RNA was extracted using TRIzol Reagent according to the manufacturers protocol, then used for sequencing on Illumina 2500 platform.
