All the plants were grown in a growth chamber under controlled long day conditions (day: 16 h – 20/22°C, night: 8 h – 16°C/18°C) with artificial light (120 mmol/m2/s), in 7x7x6.4 cm pots (Soparco, France) on a substrate composed of 80% BP Substrate K716 (Klassman, France) and 20 % of vermiculite (Souflet Vigne, France). About 5 to 10 equivalent seeds in terms of lineage and parental plant were sown in each pot and seedlings were thinned out to retain a single plant per pot. Plant location in the growth chamber was randomized.</VALUE>
