      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Other"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Accumulating evidence suggests that the maxillary process is essential to tooth development. Besides, emerging studies indicate that the p75 neurotrophic receptor plays an essential role in odontogenesis. The present study aims to illustrate the functionally heterogeneous population in the maxillary process and elucidate the effects of a p75NTR deficiency on gene expression differences in maxillary tissues from p75NTR knockout and wildtype mice by single cell RNA sequencing.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
