      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Transcriptome Analysis"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is caused by an immune disorder that is characterized by hypergammaglobulinemia, autoantibodies, and chronic active hepatitis on liver histology. This present study was designed to analyze the characteristics of AIH peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) through single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq, 10x Genomics Gene Expression 3' Chromium V 2.0) and to explore the potential molecular mechanism of AIH. Overall design: We generated single-cell transcriptomes of PBMCs that were pooled from 4 healthy volunteers and 4 AIH patients by scRNA-seq. PBMCs were used to scRNA-seq for cell clusters identification and differently expressed gene (DEG) determination.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
