<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Acinetobacter baumannii is a bacterium, which causes nosocomial infections worldwide. Antibiotic resistances are common in human medicine. There is up till now little information about its occurrence in livestock. We are therefor focussing on the characterisation, including antimicrobial and biocide susceptibility, of Acinetobacter baumannii isolates found in the environment of turkeys commercially reared for meat production.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
