<STUDY_ABSTRACT>The goal of this study is to determine the role of the 12/15-lipoxygenase pathway in the development and maintenance of alveolar macrophages. Overall design: For scRNA-Seq, CD45+ cells were isolated from the lungs of PND1 WT and Alox15-/- mice (n=1 mouse per group) using Stemcell EasySep mouse CD45 kit. For ATAC-Seq, alveolar macrophages were isolated from adult (6-8 weeks, broncho-alveolar lavages) or neonates (PND3, cell sorted from whole lungs) WT or Alox15-/- animals (n=3 mice per group).</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
