      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Other"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>The project consists of PacBio IsoSeq sequencing of full-length cDNAs of nine ampliconic gene families from eight great ape testis samples (2 humans, 2 chimpanzees, bonobo, gorilla, Bornean orangutan, and Sumatran orangutan). Two technical replicates of cDNA were generated from each of eight RNA samples. These cDNAs were used as templates for a selective pulldown of polyadenylated ampliconic gene cDNAs using double hybridization of each gene-family-specific capture probes. The project uses isONclust, a tool to cluster transcripts belonging to same gene families.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
