<STUDY_ABSTRACT>The study aimed to investigate the effect of Ecklonia maxima seaweed extract on the fungal and bacterial microbiota of leaves and berries as well as grape must of Vitis vinifera L. cv. Cabernet Sauvignon and to determine the potential influence of the associated yeasts on spontaneous wine fermentation kinetics and wine quality. Amplicon sequencing was used to conduct phylogenetic surveys after the application of E. maxima seaweed extracts on irrigated and non-irrigated vines.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
