      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Other"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Fungal community composition was assessed in soil associated with 10 tropical rainforest tree species of 10 replicates per species resulting in 100 trees in total. The study was conducted on a long-term tropical rainforest research plot in North-Queensland Australia known as Davies creek. The site lies on a slope facing W to SW and extends from a small creek upwards to a ridge 50 m higher. The slope varies from nearly level on the ridge to 35 degrees on the slopes below.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
