SRP437946 PRJNA972913 Fungal community analysis of 100 tropical rainforest trees Fungal community composition was assessed in soil associated with 10 tropical rainforest tree species of 10 replicates per species resulting in 100 trees in total. The study was conducted on a long-term tropical rainforest research plot in North-Queensland Australia known as Davies creek. The site lies on a slope facing W to SW and extends from a small creek upwards to a ridge 50 m higher. The slope varies from nearly level on the ridge to 35 degrees on the slopes below.
