        <LIBRARY_CONSTRUCTION_PROTOCOL>Total RNA was isolated using RNAzol Bee reagent (Tel-Test Inc., Friendswood, TX) per the manufacturer’s protocol.  RNA concentrations were quantified using a NanoDrop Spectrophotometer (NanoDrop Technologies, Wilmington, DE) at a wavelength of 260 nm.   Integrity of the total RNA samples was evaluated using an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies Inc., Santa Clara, CA) and the samples with RNA integrity values above 7.0 were used for the following experiments. Total RNA was used to construct RNA-seq libraries using the Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Preparation Kit v2 (cat#RS-122-2001/RS-122-2002) according to manufacturer's instructions</LIBRARY_CONSTRUCTION_PROTOCOL>
