<STUDY_ABSTRACT>To date, few miRNA-seq analyses of watermelon defense responses to Fusarium wilt have been performed. Therefore, the miRNAs associated with Fusarium wilt resistance in watermelon and their underlying mechanisms remain unknown. In this experiment, disease-resistant material (PI 296341) and disease-susceptible material (W1-1) were used. In this experiment, the roots of the above two materials were used as sequencing samples. Sampling methods: The samples were inoculated with sterile water or Fusarium oxysporum at 26h, 144h and 192h, respectively, and a 0h blank control was set for each of the two varieties. In this experiment, 42 watermelon root samples were collected at14time points to search for miRNA sensitive to Fusarium watermelon infection.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
