      <STUDY_TYPE existing_study_type="Other"/>
      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>The goal of this study was to characterize the resistome carried in commensal bacteria isolated form a variety of niches, including produce, river water (irrigation), and humans (in relationship to food-environment). The objective is to assess AMR genes in these niches, which can serve as understudied reservoirs for AMR, contributing to their transmission and spread in the food chain and environment.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
