      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>Comparison of paraspinal muscle imbalance between idiopathic scoliosis and congenital scoliosis  may shed some light on the causality of paraspinal muscle imbalance and idiopathic scoliosis. This study aims to compare the transcriptomic profiles of paraspinal muscle imbalance between idiopathic scoliosis and congenital scoliosis. Overall design: Bilateral paraspinal muscles of idiopathic scoliosis and congenital scoliosis patients were collected for transcriptome sequencing. Differentially expressed genes in paraspinal muscles of IS and CS between the convexity and the concavity were screened out. Please note that 'A' samples indicate paraspinal muscles on the concavity from idiopathic or congenital scoliosis patients, whereas 'T' samples are muscles on the convexity in idiopathic or congenital scoliosis.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
