      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>This project aims to investigate the microbial diversity in different disinfected drinking water samples collected from a municipal water treatment plant. We employ high-throughput sequencing techniques to analyze the composition of bacteria and their potential roles throughout the incubation period. Our study seeks to contribute valuable insights into the impact of incubation on microbial communities and their structure dynamics. The results are expected to enhance our understanding of the regrowth potential of bacteria after different disinfection treatments.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
