      <DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>A single adult female was collected from a mugo pine (Pinus mugo) in Lexington, KY, USA. Haploid male progeny were obtained from this female (haplodiploidy sex determination). gDNA was extracted from the progeny and sequenced. Three libraries were made: one 337 bp small-insert library, one 864 bp small-insert library, and one 4.65 kbp mate-pair library.</DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>
