Purified mRNA was fragmented using the NEBNext® Magnesium RNA Fragmentation Module Protocol and then purified using the NucleoSpin RNA Clean-up XP kit. Paired-end strand-specific RNA-seq libraries were prepared using NEBNext RNA First Strand Synthesis Module (using Actinomycin D) and NEBNext Ultra Directional RNA Second Strand Synthesis Module. Sequencing was perfomed on the Illumina MiSeq platform using MiSeq Reagent Kits v2 to generate 150-bp paired-end sequencess.</LIBRARY_CONSTRUCTION_PROTOCOL>
