      <DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>E. tarda EIB202 ∆esrB mutant  strains were cultured in DMEM medium at 28°C without shaking for 24h. RNA samples were extracted by using the RNA isolation kit (Tiangen, Beijing, China). DnaseI (Ambion) and Ribo-Zero-rRNA removal kits (Gram-Negative Bacteria) (epicentre) were used to remove DNA and rRNA.
