      <DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>Total RNA samples of developing hop plant were pooled together in equimolar amount to yield a final sample for sequencing which was performed at IGA Technology Services Srl (Udine, Italy). Sample was rRNA depleted using Ribo-Zero rRNA Removal Kit for Plants (Illumina). RNA library (insert size 200300 bp) was constructed following the protocol of TruSeq RNA-seq Sample Preparation kit (Illumina Inc.). Hop transcriptome library was sequenced on one single HiSeq2000 lane by a paired-end (PE) 100 bp set-up and raw sequences were delivered in FASTQ format.</DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>
