<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Characterization of microbial communities on samples from an experiment with aerated batch cultures using a mineral salt medium with 50 mg/L paracetamol as the only carbon source inoculated with 10% (v/v) of WWTP oxidation ditch sludge, in which high removal rates of this drug were observed. Samples for microbial community analysis were collected from the WWTP oxidation ditch sludge used as inoculum and from cultures with 1, 2, 3 and 6 days incubation after inoculation at room temperature.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
