<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) represent a major antimicrobial resistance (AMR) threat in hospital settings. CRKP are commonly associated with bloodstream and liver infections, and are responsible for increasing morbidity and mortality globally. In this project, we undertook systematic surveillance of all CRKP isolates detected at Peking University People's Hospital in Beijing, China over the course of a 14-months. We provide an in-depth study of the drivers of transmission and clinically relevant phenotypic diversity in CRKP through Whole Genome Sequencing analysis.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
