    <DESIGN>
      <DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>Freshly harvested 250mg leaf tissues were snap frozen and proceeded with Hi-C library preparation using Dovetail Hi-C Kit (Dovetail Genomics, USA) as per the manufacturers recommendations. The cross-linked chromatin was prepared using the additive formaldehyde. The cross-linked chromatin was then captured using chromatin beads and the digested using restriction endonucleases for generating sticky ends. The sticky ends were filled using biotin-labeled nucleotides. A DNA ligase was used for the blunt-end ligation of the ends within a chromatin aggregate. The chromatin was then removed and proceeded with library preparation after purification and fragmentation. The biotin-labeled fragments were enriched, and the final library was used for paired-end sequencing in HiSeqX platform to obtain 2x150bp paired-end reads.</DESIGN_DESCRIPTION>
