<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Former studies demonstrated that the cembranoid type diterpenes in tobacco has a good antimicrobial, antitumor and neuroprotective activity. Hepatocellular carcinoma has been the world's second largest malignant tumor in recent years. In this study, we isolated cembranoid type diterpenes from tobancco and detected its antitumor activity on hepatoma cell lines, a-2, 7, 11-cyprotermine-4, 6-diol (a-CBD) was used to investigate its antitumor activity on HepG2 cells in vitro.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
