      <STUDY_ABSTRACT>In order to investigated the effect of aridity and dune type on rhizosphere soil bacterial communities of Caragana microphylla in desert regions of northern China, Soil samples were taken of both rhizosphere and bulk soils of C. microphylla from four sites with different aridity indices, and one site with three different types of dunes. All sites were located in the desert regions of northern China. The letters A, D, H, I, E, F, G in the sample name denotes site A, site D, site H, site I, fixed dune, semi-fixed dune, moving dune. The letters M and C represent rhizosphere and bulk soil, respectively.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
