<STUDY_ABSTRACT>Depression is an independent risk factor of AS, increasing the risk of death and disability of AS, but the molecular mechanism is not clear, and there is no effective treatment for AS co-depression. GXII is a famous traditional Chinese medicine formula, which is widely used in the clinical treatment of coronary heart disease and can effectively alleviate symptoms such as chest pain and chest tightness in patients. HPLC-MS/MS was used to analyze the main components of GXII in the blood, hippocampus and prefrontal cortex, thus F is confirmed to be the main active component of GXII, which acts as an anti-AS co-depression. Further, the different expression genes (DEGs) in prefrontal cortex and hippocampus of mice treated with GXII and F were analyzed by RNA-seq technique. The results suggest that the anti-AS co-depression mechanism of GXII and F are related to inflammatory pathways.. This study suggests that the anti-inflammatory effect of F is the main mechanism of GXII in the treatment of AS co-depression.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
