<STUDY_ABSTRACT>We report the transcriptome profiles of guinea pig cytomegalovirus (Caviid betaherpesvirus 2 ; GPCMV) infected and uninfected cells. RNA was harvested at an early time post-infection. Data sets from a lung fibroblast cell line (JH4), primary amnion derived cells (1° AECs), and HPV16 E6/E7-transduced amniotic epithelial cells (AECD) is shared. Overall design: Confluent guinea pig lung fibroblasts (JH4 clone 1), primary guinea pig amnion derived cells (1° AECs), or HPV16 E6/E7-transduced amniotic epithelial cells (AECD) were infected with guinea pig cytomegalovirus (GPCMV, Caviid betaherpesvirus 2) or mock infected in triplicate. RNA was extracted from these cells at 24 hours post-infection and sequenced by Illumina RNA-Seq. Data represents three expreiments and eightteen total samples.</STUDY_ABSTRACT>
