In this study, we compared the biological characteristics of primary and immortalized corneal epithelial cells with the expression of Simian virus 40 large T antigen (SV40) or combinatorial expression of mutant cyclin dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) and Cyclin D1 and telomere reverse transcriptase (TERT). Furthermore, we compared the effect of cell culture condition to transcriptome with SV40 cells with and without serum containing medium. We obtained the whole poly A tailed mRNA expression profiling with RNA-Seq among primary, immortalized cell with combinatorial expression of mutant CDK4, Cyclin D1, and TERT, and immortalized SV40 with serum medium, immortalized SV40 cell with no serum.
