Comment[GEAAccession] E-GEAD-612 MAGE-TAB Version 1.1 Investigation Title Spatial transcriptome analysis of the fetal marmoset brain Experiment Description Primates have a more developed cerebrum than rodents and have acquired higher-order brain functions. Especially in the fetal brain, the subplate layer, which plays an essential role in brain construction, is transiently thickened. Therefore, we performed Visium spatial transcriptome analysis using marmoset fetal brains to compare the primate brain formation process with mice. The aim is to elucidate primate-specific mechanisms of brain formation through interspecies comparative analysis. Fresh-frozen sections were prepared. Visium Spatial Gene Expression Reagent Kits(10x Genomics) The sequence library was constructed using the Visium Spatial Gene Expression Reagent Kits(10x Genomics). Sequencing was performed on the Illumina NovaSeq6000 in paired end mode; Read1:Spatial Barcode, UMI(28 bp), i7 Index:Sample Index(10 bp), i5 Index:Sample Index(10 bp), Read2:Insert(90 bp). Sequenced reads were mapped to genome assembly by Callithrix jacchus: GCF_009663435.1, using spaceranger v1.3.1(10x Genomics).
