  TITLE     Functional involvement of Tudor and dPRMT5 in the piRNA processing
            pathway in Drosophila germlines

COMMENT     Aubergine (Aub) was immunoprecipitated from drosophila tudor
            mutant ovaries (mutant) using anti-Aub antibody immobilized on
            Dynabeads Protein G (Invitrogen). The buffer used was Binding
            buffer. After incubation with ovary lysate, the bead fractions
            were extensively washed with Binding buffer and the protein pools
            bound to the beads were eluted with SDS-PAGE sample buffer. After
            immunoprecipitation, total RNAs were isolated from the
            immunopurified complexes by phenol:chloroform extraction and
            precipitated with ethanol. With the total RNAs, deep sequencing
            (Takara Bio inc. cDNA library preparation and sequencing service
            Illumina GAII) was performed. 50,000 raw sequences were sampled
            from mutant raw reads. Among the sampled sequences, sequences from
            20 to 30 bases were used for subsequent analyses.
