Files in this directory drosophilaAll.lis - Tab delimited text file detailing all proteins from the Drosophila genus (from standard, non-confidential EMBL/INSDC entries, sorted by pid) with the following fields INSDC_AC PID SWALL_AC DB (S=UniProtKB:SwissProt, UniProtKB:T= TrEMBL) gene_name(s) (tab delimited) NB nucleotide and pid version numbers are not included. This list is updated at every UniProt release ec_number_validation_mappings.txt - Tab delimited file for use in EC number validation. Derived weekly from /ebi/ftp/pub/databases/enzyme/enzyme.dat Format is: EC number Valid equivalent number (identical to 'EC number' unless remapped), or 'DELETED' Any remapping information (free text) Notes: All EC_number values in an INSDC entry must be live at the of submission. We permit ambiguous EC numbers, eg "1.1.1.-" or "1.1.-.-" where details are incomplete. This file includes all known EC numbers (and their ambiguous parents), ie live, DELETED and transferred. Where the transferral is ambiguous, the most specific ambiguous EC number is given, eg All 1.14.2.- nodes have been remapped 1.14.2.1 1.14.17.1 Transferred to 1.14.17.1 1.14.2.2 1.13.11.27 Transferred to 1.13.11.27 So the best most specific remapping for the ambiguous node is to 1.-.-.- 1.14.2.- 1.-.-.- Transferred to 1.14.17.1, 1.13.11.27 For completeness, the completely ambiguous node '-.-.-.-' is present in the file, but it should not be used in any entry. entryname_to_acc.mapping - files containing the mapping from the entryname to accession numbers where entryname was differennt from accession number. Entrynames dissapeared from EMBL flatfiles when release 87 (June 2006) went public; entryname_to_acc.mapping file will help to support searches by the entryname where needed acc_to_taxid.mapping.txt.gz - a tab delimited text file of EMBL/INSDC accession numbers and NCBI taxid. Useful for anyone who needs to derive lists of accession numbers for a particular taxid, and also for users of the fasta embl files at ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/databases/fastafiles/emblrelease. This file will be created at the start of each EMBL release, and so will not include the latest entries.
