description To obtain gene expression profile in response to symbiotic nitrogen fixation during root nodule symbiosis in Lotus japonicus, we conducted RNA-seq analysis in non-inoculated, wild-type (WT) and delta NifH rhizobia-inoculated conditions. Whorl shoot tissues of Lotus japonicus MG20 WT plants were collected 11 days after rhizobial inoculation when nitrogen fixation occurred in nodules colonized by WT rhizobia.
