Elevated CO2 alternate the community structure of rice root-associated bacteria |
description |
The effects of free-air carbon dioxide enrichment (FACE) on the rice root-associated bacterial community were evaluated by 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing. We tested three rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars (Koshihikari, Akita 63, Takanari) and two near isogenic lines (NILs) of Koshihikari. Field-grown rice roots were sampled 56 days after transplanting, and root associated bacteria were extracted by the bacterial cell enrichment. 16S rRNA genes were amplified using 27F and 518R primers and subjected to pyrosequencing. |
